Adobe Air 2.5 Revealed: It’s All About Mobile

Key Points:

  • (multiplatform) smartphones, tablets and TV-friendly
  • new features, mostly to take advantage of core-functionalities of devices such as accelerometer and geolocation
  • InMarket for creating business models to developers
  • not supported on iOS

My take: Adobe is positioning AIR as a platform. At last! InMarket follows a trend but, with retro-active compatibility, could allow Adobe to have a great position on smartphones, tablets and TV (and cross-media/transmedia) ecosystems!
